In what used to be on the edge of the interface between East and West, Eastern Bavaria has developed into what is today the geographic center of Europe and an important hub with an excellent transportation infrastructure.
 

medTECH Capital Fonds GmbH is a venture involving S-REFIT AG Regensburg and the Sparkasse Erlangen. The fund’s industry focus lies in the area of medical technology, but adjacent technologies and services are considered as well.
 

This fund is based in Regensburg and is financed equally with capital from S-REFIT AG and the European Fund for Regional Development. The Bavarian State Ministry for Commerce, Infrastructure, Transportation and Technology is the conduit for the European Fund. The investment capital is meant to be provided to small and mid-sized companies in areas of Bavaria that are economically underdeveloped. S-REFIT is responsible for the operational management of the fund.
